Focke Wulf flap setup

  • The servo arms were not setup to be at the same position when the transmitter connected to the receiver.   I had to change one of the servo arms to be the same.   Also,  the flaps do not close all the way.  This is because the flaps are very precisely cut to match the cutout in the wing.  When the wing and flaps are painted,  the flaps are too large to go into the wing cutout.  Therefore,  is suggest sanding the flap edges so they will fit inside the cutout.  Then paint the edge of the flaps.  Make sure the flaps still fit inside the wing cutout.

Suggestion for the manufacturing of the flaps;   Make the flaps 1 mm shorter, and 1 mm narrower .   This will allow the flaps to fit in the wing cut out after the paint is applied.   It will allow  .5 mm  clearance for the paint on each edge.

I also discovered that the ESC was not set to factory specifications,  therefore I had to set the ESC to factory specifications using my transmitter.    I suggest that setting the ESC to factory specifications be added to the building instructions.

I also suggest that checking the servo arm placement be checked , to be added the the construction instructions.

    Thank you for listening
