Some of you probably remember this teaser from last year…
And yeah — you guessed it right.
The E-2C Hawkeye is finally here.
We’ve been working on this one for a while, and the goal was pretty simple:
π Make it look right
π Make it fly right
βοΈ Specs at a glance
• 1500mm wingspan
• Twin TomCat 3520 KV770 motors
• Dual 40A ESCs
• Thrust-to-weight ratio > 1
π‘ What makes it different
• 360° Functional rotating radar dome (yes, it actually spins)
• Twin-engine setup with plenty of power in reserve
• Surprisingly stable for its size and layout
• Two-stage flaps for slower approaches
The Dynam E-2C Hawkeye is not just another scale plane — it’s a centerpiece aircraft.
Flight feel (what we focused on)
We tuned it to be predictable and stable, especially on takeoff and landing.
The twin setup helps a lot with smooth throttle response, and it tracks well even in less-than-perfect conditions.
Not a beginner plane — but very manageable if you’ve flown twins or warbirds before.
Other details
• CNC aluminum shock-absorbing retracts
• Carbon-reinforced wing structure
• Magnetic detachable nose (helps reduce crash damage)
• Full lighting system
We’ve just opened pre-orders for the first batch.
Early buyers get $40 off (limited run), but more importantly we’re looking forward to getting feedback from pilots once these are in the air.
