The BNF (Bind and Fly) version, receivers such as the MSR66A work exclusively with Detrum transmitters.

Dynam SRTF version is based on the standard RTF (Ready to Fly), which integrates the iStone 6-Axis Gyro Stabilizer w/ ABS System: RC airplanes get everything in a box to fly. The radio system (Transmitter and receiver), battery pack (battery and charger), and all other required electric parts are included and pre-installed. Some issues that might give the inexperienced a desire to not purchase from you in the future.

I liked that the wing panels were in their own protected boxes however they slid around inside them and crushing occurred on the tips. Two of the mounting plates on the fuselage for the wing struts came right off, the tiny bit of glue not even touching the plastic to the foam. All the struts were not adequately glued or snapped together. The finish over all is excellent and fit up so far is good. The pilot figure was a pleasant surprise and of good quality, however a 1/16 scale figure for a 1/7 scale model seems rather odd. As I am an experienced modeler none of these issues are "deal breakers", I'll steam out the wrinkles on the wing tips and re-glue the struts and mounts. Over all, I am satisfied with my purchase and pleased with the detail of this kit. (not contest level scale but much more than just holding to the general outline of the real plane) If it flys as well as the Dynam Bf-109 I purchased two years age I will be delighted.

Plane looks to be excellently engineered as far as structure. Paint scheme is a little convenient to the mfg process, but easily changed to scale. Overall an excellent value on the market.

Nice looking plane. Some issues.

Nice looking model. My tail wheel didn't work and the front plastic on fuselage was glued on a little crooked causing spinner rubbing at first but went away after running motor for a minute. I going to cut open bottom to get at the tail wheel assembly but not sure if that will give me access to fix so have not flown yet due to tail wheel problem. I still recommend it if you like WWI airplanes.

Flys pretty good

So, I finally got to make 2 successful maiden flights to get the CG and trim worked out as the first 2 maiden attempts ended in crashes as the the plane was terribly tail heavy with just a 2200 lipo and unflyable.

Build is kinda intense and flights are good once all the kinks are ironed out. To get the CG pretty close so it flys good took a 2200 shorty (171g) all the way forward, 156g of lead and 11g for the air tag. The plane comes in at 2030G flying so it’s kinda heavy. It took 60% expo all around to feel smooth and land nice. Not the usual floaty Dynam plane but to be fair as the plane is very scale, the 100year old technology and barely a decade into powered flight probably made the original fly a bit wonky too

I detailed mine out to look like a Jasta 11 flying circus plane

Mine arrived damaged too. Dynam sent me the new replacement parts

Its a really nice model. Looks awesome. Lots of work to assemble.
Shopping box needs to be a bit stronger. One of the top wing, tips was a bit crushed.
Some hot water worked it out.
