What's the difference between RTF, BNF, and PNP?

PNP (Plug-N-Play) RC airplanes have everything you need EXCEPT a transmitter, receiver, and battery pack (battery & charger). It contains model kits, Detrum motors, TomCat Skylord ESCs, and servos.

BNF (Bind-N-Fly) RC airplanes come with everything you need to get in the air EXCEPT the Transmitter and battery pack (battery & charger). It contains model kits, Detrum motors, TomCat Skylord ESCs, servos, and an iStone gyro receiver. They are easy to use, versatile, and safe, making them the perfect choice for beginners and experienced pilots. The BNF (Bind and Fly) version, receivers such as the MSR66A work exclusively with Detrum transmitters.

Dynam SRTF version is based on the standard RTF (Ready to Fly), which integrates the iStone 6-Axis Gyro Stabilizer w/ ABS System: RC airplanes get everything in a box to fly. The radio system (Transmitter and receiver), battery pack (battery and charger), and all other required electric parts are included and pre-installed. It contains model kits, Detrum motors, TomCat Skylord ESCs, servos, Detrum transmitters, iStone gyro receivers, battery, charger, and adapter. RTF planes are a great way to enjoy the thrill of flying without too much hassle.

SRTF-6C Version: Includes a PNP kit, Detrum motors, TomCat Skylord ESCs, servos, Gavin-6C transmitter, MSR66A iStone gyro receiver, battery, charger, and adapter.

SRTF-8C Version: Features a PNP kit, Detrum motors, TomCat Skylord ESCs, servos, Gavin-8C transmitter, MSR66A iStone gyro receiver, battery, charger, and adapter.

SRTF-DT9 Version: Comes with a PNP kit, Detrum motors, TomCat Skylord ESCs, servos, Blitz-DT9 transmitter (programming & telemetry), SR86A-G 8-channel gyro receiver, battery, charger, and adapter.

iStone Gyro Receiver (The receiver integrated with iStone stabilizer):

Six-axis gyro high-precision stabilization function, auto-recovery, one-click rescue. Incredibly accurate and greatly improves the flying experience.

Regarding different aircraft, the parameter and sensitivity of the gyro receiver can be programmed with a Detrum transmitter (Gavin6C/Gavin8C/Blitz DT9) directly.

Quick and easy setup process. If you don't want Gyro to join the flight, just choose Gyro off mode on Transmitter.

Well, a few assembly isuues but it is a good flyer and looks good in the air

Well, few issues. My first Dynam plane. Assembly was not bad, I expected it not to be perfect based on other reviews.
The bad: The shipping took about 2 weeks. It went from west coast to the north east coast, why, I have no idea as I’m in the middle south US. The screws for the servo horns were too short so I had some longers ones . The left aileron servo failed during setup, so I replaced both aileron servos from my stock to have matching servos. Before maiden I was doing final pre-check and noticed about half of the rudder had come loose. I had some blenderm tape for a temp fix. I later repaired it with some actual hinges.
The good: Maiden went great. It flew great and looked good in the air! It’s not a power house but has enough power to do scale maneuvers, which it’s not a 3d plane and shouldn’t be. Landings were easy, keep a little power on and it settles very nice. The paint, finish was pretty good, no complaints there. Flying wires were a nice touch and looked good.
All in all, for the price, I would buy again because it looks good enough and is a good flyer.

Very pleased!

I am impressed with the quality and detail of this model. I have owned larger models of the Stearman and this one has very similar flying qualities. Since the wings have a bit of flex to them it is advantageous to use the flying wires supplied in the kit. Takeoff and landings are quite easy with this model.

Dynam PT-17 Stearman Blue PNP

Overall, a very good plane. I am somewhat disappointed in the electronics. Had a dead wing servo that Dynam did replace. I wish they had better assembly instructions. I had several missing pieces of hardware, such as screws. I replaced the wheels with the Dubro low bounce which made the ground handling much better. I also wish they would produce better decals. Overall a good product for the money. Customer service has been excellent!!!

Great for the money

Lovely looking plane and good value, instructions and some hardware needs improving as instruction are poor and the plastic clevises break. On the pt 17 the tail wires are too long and need modification
