What's the difference between RTF, BNF, SPNP and PNP?

PNP (Plug-N-Play) RC airplanes have everything you need EXCEPT a transmitter, receiver, and battery pack (battery & charger). It contains model kits, Detrum motors, TomCat Skylord ESCs, and servos.

BNF (Bind-N-Fly) RC airplanes come with everything you need to get in the air EXCEPT the Transmitter and battery pack (battery & charger). It contains model kits, Detrum motors, TomCat Skylord ESCs, servos, and an iStone gyro receiver. They are easy to use, versatile, and safe, making them the perfect choice for beginners and experienced pilots. The BNF (Bind and Fly) version, receivers such as the MSR66A work exclusively with Detrum transmitters.

Dynam SPNP (PNP + iStone All V2) RC airplane is a versatile and user-friendly aircraft designed for RC enthusiasts. Combining an easy plug-and-play setup with the advanced iStone stabilization system, it suits a wide range of pilots. The PNP + iStone version includes the iStoneAll V2 6-axis gyro stabilizer, compatible with major radio transmitter brands like Futaba, Spektrum, Detrum, and etc., providing excellent versatility and flight performance.

iStone All V2 Gyro Stabilizer Features:

6-axis high-precision stabilization
Auto-recovery and one-click rescue
Compatible with most receivers
Adjustable parameters and sensitivity via 3-in-1 programming card with LCD
Gyro-off mode for manual flight

The PNP configuration and iStone All V2 stabilization system make this plane ideal for beginners, while offering features appreciated by intermediate pilots.

Dynam SRTF version is based on the standard RTF (Ready to Fly), which integrates the iStone 6-Axis Gyro Stabilizer w/ ABS System: RC airplanes get everything in a box to fly. The radio system (Transmitter and receiver), battery pack (battery and charger), and all other required electric parts are included and pre-installed. It contains model kits, Detrum motors, TomCat Skylord ESCs, servos, Detrum transmitters, iStone gyro receivers, battery, charger, and adapter. RTF planes are a great way to enjoy the thrill of flying without too much hassle.

iStone Gyro Receiver (The receiver integrated with iStone stabilizer):

Six-axis gyro high-precision stabilization function, auto-recovery, one-click rescue. Incredibly accurate and greatly improves the flying experience.

Regarding different aircraft, the parameter and sensitivity of the gyro receiver can be programmed with a Detrum transmitter (Gavin6C/Gavin8C/Blitz DT9) directly.

Quick and easy setup process. If you don't want Gyro to join the flight, just choose Gyro off mode on Transmitter.

Flys well

Flys well after a ton of surface control adjustments especially the ailerons as it banked so hard to the left it was hard to fly at first. Trim alone could not even come close. CG is perfect with a 33004s. Servos are the typical Dynam junk as they are noisy, choppy and sticky. They all need to be replaced before you get it in the air Build was pretty good and I modified and painted mine to resemble a Sopwith Camel. Definitely not a beginner plane to build or fly as there are a lot of bugs to work out. The up side is that Dynam makes planes that others don’t and the ones they do can be modified to look like something else yet still fly good. I did the same with the Tiger Moth. Converted it to look more like a Bristol F2B

Nice plane and goes together easily. I did replace the Wing Strut and Cabaine Struts screws and bolts with self locking hardware. It is an easy flyer and for new pilots a great Second Airplane. This plane is a good value for the money.

This is one of my favorite airplanes for both looks and flying. And it fits in the van with the wings all assembled.
